In this latest episode of The Indoencers Podcast we are shifting the focus a little away from music creation itself, and are instead discussing the topic of music business and music copyright. The Indian Performing Right Society, or IPRS in short, is a key organization that helps protect artists’ rights, and throughout today’s discussion, we’re going to try and get to know how they go about helping protect the rights of lyricists, composers and music companies, among other affiliated parties.

Our guest today, Ms. Rumpa Banerjee, comes with a decorated background of brand management and marketing in the television world, after which she joined the IPRS in 2020 as the head of member relations, marketing and communications.
